He oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic planning and various policies required for day-to-day affairs of the company.

Mr. Rakesh Mathur, aged about 72 years, has over 40 years of extensive and varied experience in the hospitality industry. He has handled various assignments in India and abroad. Mr. Mathur holds B.A. (Honours) degree with specialization in economics from Delhi University and diploma in hotel management from Oberoi Hotel, Affiliated to Cornell University, USA. He is Founder and Current President of Responsible Tourism Society of India and Executive Committee Member of India Heritage Hotels Association and INTACH Tourism Committee. He is an Independent Director in Speciality Restaurants Limited.

His views are also quoted in leading newspapers like Hindustan Times and Economic Times and He holds an MBA degree from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
